Trendwise Privacy Policy — what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights. Privacy Policy.
Plain English. Last updated May 21, 2026.
Trendwise SEO Consulting (“Trendwise,” “we,” “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect when you use trendwiseco.com, how we use it, and your rights over it.
On this page
1. Information we collect
We only collect information you give us or that’s needed to run the site.
You give us directly
- Contact form submissions: name, email, phone, and project details when you fill out our form.
- Email and phone outreach: any information you include when you email or call us.
- Client account info: billing details, login credentials, and project files if you become a client.
Collected automatically
- Analytics data: pages viewed, referring source, browser type, approximate location — via Google Analytics or similar.
- Server logs: IP address, request timestamp, user agent — standard web server data for security and debugging.
- Cookies: small files that remember your preferences (see Cookies section below).
2. How we use it
- To reply to your inquiries and send project quotes
- To deliver services you’ve hired us for (web development, plugins, hosting, marketing)
- To send invoices and process payments
- To send occasional product updates if you opt in (you can opt out any time)
- To monitor site performance and prevent abuse
- To comply with legal requirements
We do not sell your information. Ever.
3. Who we share it with
We share information only with vendors that help us run the business, under contracts that require them to protect your data:
- Hosting providers (our servers and our clients’ managed hosting)
- Payment processors (Stripe, banks)
- Analytics tools (Google Analytics, Search Console)
- Email and communication tools (transactional email providers, scheduling tools)
- Legal authorities if required by law or court order
If we ever sell or merge the business, your data may be transferred to the new owner under this same policy.
4. Cookies & tracking
We use cookies for:
- Site functionality — remembering preferences, keeping you logged in if you have an account
- Analytics — measuring how visitors use the site so we can improve it
- Anti-spam — protecting forms from automated abuse
You can disable cookies in your browser settings, but parts of the site may not work correctly.
5. How long we keep it
We keep data only as long as it’s useful:
- Contact form submissions: 24 months after last activity
- Client records and invoices: 7 years (tax and legal compliance)
- Analytics data: retention follows the analytics provider’s defaults (typically 14–26 months)
- Server logs: 90 days
6. Your rights
Regardless of where you live, you can ask us to:
- Access the personal data we have about you
- Correct anything that’s wrong
- Delete your data (subject to legal retention requirements)
- Opt out of marketing communications at any time
- Export a copy of your data in a portable format
Email su*****@*********co.com with your request. We respond within 30 days.
7. Security
We follow industry-standard practices: TLS/HTTPS everywhere, least-privilege access controls, encrypted backups, regular security updates, and staff training. No system is perfectly secure, but we work hard to protect what you share with us.
8. Children’s privacy
Our services are for businesses, not children. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13. If you believe we have, contact us and we’ll delete it.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our services or the law change. We’ll update the “Last updated” date at the top and, for material changes, notify clients by email.
