Accessibility statement

We want everyone to be able to use trendwiseco.com, including people who browse with a screen reader, a keyboard, or magnified text. Here is where we stand and how to tell us when we get it wrong.

Our commitment

We build toward WCAG 2.1 Level AA.

Trendwise is a Texas web development and marketing company. Accessibility is part of how we build, on this site and on the sites we build for clients. We measure our own site against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA.

We are not claiming full conformance. This site is built on WordPress with third-party plugins and a page builder, and parts of it fall short of what we are aiming for. We treat accessibility defects the same way we treat any other bug: reported, prioritised, and fixed.

What we do on every page

  • Real headings, in order. One H1 per page and a heading structure a screen reader can navigate.
  • Text alternatives for images. Meaningful images carry alt text; decorative ones are marked so they are skipped.
  • Keyboard access. Links, buttons and form fields are reachable and operable without a mouse.
  • Readable contrast. Body text is checked against the AA contrast ratio on both our navy and light sections.
  • Labelled forms. Every field has a label or an accessible name, and errors are announced in text, not colour alone.
  • Reduced motion respected. Animations are disabled for visitors whose system asks for reduced motion.

Known limitations

Being straight with you about where this site is not there yet:

  • Third-party embeds. Embedded maps, forms and consent tools come from outside vendors, and we do not control their markup.
  • Older pages. Some pages predate our current standards and are being brought up as we touch them.
  • PDFs and downloads. Documents attached to some pages may not be fully tagged for screen readers. Ask us and we will send the content in an accessible format.

Tell us when something does not work

If any part of this site blocks you, we want to hear about it, and we will help you get what you came for in the meantime. Include the page address and what happened.

We aim to reply the same business day. If a fix will take longer than that, we will tell you what we are doing and when to expect it.

Formal complaints

If you have contacted us and are not satisfied with the response, you can escalate to the U.S. Department of Justice Civil Rights Division at ada.gov/file-a-complaint.
